Dorophy Tang is a Hong Kong artist who was a featured guest at 北京聚會 (2010). Much of her artistic works have been focused in the revitalization of the 青花 porcelain art or carry a strong influence of this traditional Chinese art form. Her works reach across a range of oil paintings, sculpture, vinyl toy collaborations and furniture design and often utilize the use of traditional pattern combined with contemporary technique and the images of babies from the traditional Chinese lunar calendar.
Her unique style combines the traditional and vintage with contemporary design and social commentary. Dorophy Tang has collaborated and worked with renowned brands such as Lee, Lomography, Adidas, Kappa and Epson.
