Martians are human refugees who have relocated at Mars to escape the oppression of the religious Terrans. It is likely that groups of Martian sympathizers and supporters still remain on Earth in certain nations. The Phobos Defence colourway suggests that the Martians have base of operations on Phobos while the Deimos Liberator colourway suggests that the Terrans have already occupied Deimos.
