A chase figure is a term applied in the urban vinyl [1] collecting subculture to describe a rare figure that the consumer has a chance to receive in place of the figure he or she ordered. Sometimes the ratio of these figures are known; for example, Nightwatch Bramble was a 1 in 4 chance with the purchase of Euro Defense Bramble. Sometimes the ratio of these figures are not known, however, in the case of the Square² chase figures MERC, Nightwatch and Daywatch.
