Talk:ThreeA Toys Catalog
Amount Produced

Information Organization
Perhaps the catalog will look better with one Table for everything; more like a spreadsheet? --Ennui 15:38, 24 April 2010 (EDT)
-
It looks far better like that. --Ennui 15:52, 24 April 2010 (EDT)

Made most of the table sortable, should be a good idea for big table? --Agentman 02:46, 30 April 2010 (EDT)

Brilliant! --Ennui 21:07, 1 May 2010 (EDT)

The tables don't sort properly on date. The year part is sorted correctly, but not month/day. My guess is that the sorting alg. expects MM.DD.YYYY rather than DD.MM.YYYY. I would suggest using neither and go with YYYY-MM-DD, which is an international standard (ISO 8601), and lexicographical sorting == chronological sorting, and is less likely to be misinterpreted (NOBODY uses YYYY-DD-MM as a format).--Pharaoh 02:55, 4 February 2011 (EST)

I'm going to let you guys figure this out. I'm definitely not up to speed on this whole page. Just let me know if there's anything you need me to do code-wise to fix anything. TiredChildren 09:08, 7 February 2011 (EST)

Category
This page is the only item in the 3A Toys Catalog category. I can't think of anything else that would go in that category, so by definition I'm not sure there should be a category for 3A Toys Catalog. I was trying to figure out what other category there could be for this page, though… one that would include other pages. Thoughts? -- TiredChildren 01:09, 6 May 2010 (EDT)
- I hadn't thought of anything yet, but I figured it'd be good to start in case we want one later. For example, should we later make a photo catalog, an apparel catalog, or other product listings in the future as 3A expands and grows larger. Ennui 23:30, 26 August 2010 (EDT)
Link Updates
Cody, James... lots of links need updating on the catalog when you guys have a chance. here's the corrected links below, so that you can just copy/paste:

The IDW Security bramble had a count of 100.
The four Bambaland WWR Heavy Brambles have individual Product codes- they don't all share WWRHG. The JEA Marine is 'WWRHJ' and Gravedigger is 'WWRHG'. Not sure about the other two (WWRHD and WWRHB would be good guesses tho) --Pharaoh 01:06, 7 February 2011 (EST)
- Thanks man, Deimos is WWRHP oddly enough. WWRHD was saved for Daywatch. Ennui 17:38, 16 February 2011 (EST)
